  • Spartan 8 Degrees

Hi, I'm setting up my first spartan vortex vx1n, everything working correctly up until the aileron 8 degrees, my pitch gauge is reading-8 when I get to the elevator 8 degrees it's 8 degrees, what I'm I doing wrong.
    cheers Paul

Which way are the blades pointing though? I've done loads of Spartan setups but it has been a while now. I'm pretty sure it tilts the blades into positive pitch for setting the 8 degrees, but if your pitch gauge is flipped around it could read -8.

Well, If it's negative on the pitch gauge it's still 8 degrees. The main thing is that it is correcting in the right direction and that the swash is moving in the right directions according to the stick movements. Pay close attention to where the servo reverse is set (if needed) as there may be more than one way to do it, but if it's done the correct way you'll see all the stick movements going in the correct directions both at the swash and also in the display in the datapod.

Cheers Trillian, I reversed the aileron and rudder on my transmitter to allow the datapod ball to mimic my transmitter.

          Thanks Paul
