Recently i have decided to attempt learning to fly again - tried 10 years ago but real life over-ruled my desires.
I have a Trex 450 sport FB built by myself and tested by a seasoned pilot but has been sat in storage for around 9-10 years (this will need a once over to make sure things run ok - electrics are Align same with servo's) I also have a Tarot 450 FB Align clone with all servo's and motor but needs building, and i have a Gaui 255 Hurricane that needs a Gyro and a Reciever.
I intend to build/complete/finish these Heli's and use them to learn on even though they are old-tech, but looking through my spares i have the following un-used still boxed Gyro's:
1. Inertia 860 Gyro (was touted as a Spartan clone for a while)
2. Assan GA250 Mems Gyro
From what i can remember (9+ years ago and a stroke ago) the Inertia gyro was the more powerful/rock-steady gyro, and more suited to the larger 450 - where-as the Assan GA250 would be better suited to the smaller Gaui 255.
I know this is 10 year old tech but am i correct in my above assumption.?
Yes i am aware that things have moved on and FBL has come on leaps and bounds since i last dipped my toes in the sky (?) but i am only short of a receiver to get the Gaui airborne so financially it makes sense - currently battering AccuRC on my NX6 transmitter which is been my only real outlay.
