  • Header Tank

    Heya All,

thinking about getting a header tank for my Raptor 30, but the tubing installation confuses me, well most of it does.

What most confuses me is how to fill it up, Do you disconnect the one that goes to the engine (if i dont have a 3 way Filter) and then when the fuel level rises in the header tank, the tube that goes to the main tank feeds the fuel into there?

Thinking about getting the Century header tank, Any recommendations?

    Regards
    Callum

You fill it in the same way you would have filled your main tank when it didn't have a header!
I use a 3 way with an end plug.
Most would probably recommend a Quick UK one but I have always used a cheap non descript one normally around £5.
I also stuck mine to the main tank using Heavy duty velcro and this has never come off even in some serious earth encounters.
