is this a vertical or horizontal bounce?

your description suggests its vertical as you mention it does it using elevator. If so its not the gyro, your dampers are foobared

if its a horizontal bounce after giving rudder input and letting go quickly try dropping the gain a little, if the response then gets soggy turn the gain back up and drop the deceleration in the gyro a little.

Have you fitted aftermarket light 3D paddels?

i have herd if the weight of the paddeis is to light it can cause this.
but if there stock i do not know of another reason sorry.
Hopefully someone else can shed some light on it for you.

                Hi Stevo
                it is a vertical bounce
You can eliminate the Gyro from your list then.

Its most likely a problem relating to the following dampners/tight ball links/elevator function/loose boom/Stays/Sticking flybar/binding

your dampers are too hard for the current setup. i'd guess a low HS coupled with hard damping=this.

                    cheers
