  • ar6200 setup

I have a dx6i (thanks again Brin) and i bought an ar6200 to go with it, i have got it to bind ok and all servo's move when commanded to, thing is im not 100% sure the wires are the right way round for those of you that dont know here is a pic http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...%3Den%26sa%3DG,
Now there are 3 wires red/white/black or red/white/yellow (although yelllow and white serve the same purpose) attached to the servo's, but does the white/yellow wire go next to the writing on the 6200 or is it furthest from the writing on the 6200, i currently have it next to, but need to know if this is wrong.
    Nik.

If you have any servo connected the wrong way round it simply won't work

thanks for that, they all move so im guessing its alright lol, now just to set her up and add loads of weight to her nose (added weight it took 40g in the nose of the canopy to level her out)

Yeah, reckon so. I use an AR6200 and i think one of the aileron servos plugs into the aux socket, and the gyro gain/mode wire plugs into the gear socket. I think.

              Hi Nik

If your heli pitches back and rolls right the head is not set up correctly. You will need to change the angle of the flybar control arm (bell mixing) as I've previously posted. These are classic symptoms and had me scratching my head for a while, but can be overcome with a little patience and tweaking. Trust me, when I sent it to you it was perfectly set up and flew hands off with the trims in the centre. Yes, it was a little tail heavy as all Belt CPs are, but it does not need any weight in the nose if the head is set up right.

Remember it's only since you crashed it that you've been having problems. I should get Mike round again to set it back up for you if I were you.

I've asked him to come and set the plastic head up this weekend the metal one is still set it just needs a feathering shaft which i ordered today, then she will be back to normal, the other reason she needs setting up again is since Mike did it previously, i have installed new servo's due to the old ones being a tad worn and having some slop, and they are bigger and have a little bit more travel than the Esky ones

They weren't really worn - that is what stock Esky servos are like! Remember Esky is a low-end manufacturer - I hope your new ones are better
