  • honey bee cp2 tail rotor assembly

    hi,

does anyone know how to remove the tail rotor assembly on a honey bee cp2?

mine has broken where the metal shaft goes down to the floor and isonly held on by the tail part

Im guessing you have to desolder the motor first then pull like hell but being unsure thought id ask

    thanks

I managed to get mine out by pouring boiling water over the tail rotor housing/boom joint then a sharp pull and a twist out it came. Same the other end of the boom where it enters the main frame. But perhaps I just got lucky

looks like im going to have to cut it off then unless superglue would do it?

what you glueing? if its just the bit of metal/plastic that stops the tail rotor hitting the floor you should be ok to glue it as this is its only purpose
