  • Not achieving 10 degrees

    Hello,

Upon setting up the B400, I noticed im not achieving -/+ 10 degrees, Im am only getting -/+ 6 degrees, will upping the swash mix bump the numbers up?

Is that what I need to do to up the degree of pitch? I have 0 at centre stick and equal on stick up and down but not full 10 -/+

    Thanks

Hi m8 i've just setup my T3ds and had the same problem , first off which TX you using and what numbers have you got for your swash mix settings.......are any of your servo a bit noisey too when your stick is at the bottom = - pitch etc.

Its a DX7 and they are currently at around -/+ 50

Yes, one of them is winging at the bottom end

Try 65 on the Ail/elev and 75 on the pitch but watch the swash plate going up and down as you may have to make adjustments to the right / left link lengths so it goes up and down evenly.

I've asked about the cnc parts to see if changing over to the cnc parts had any baring on less maximum pitch and that the pitch may have been reduced in setting centre stick to 0 degree's but obviously not.........but i'm sure the swash mix settings/numbers do but i looked at them in a way that they had to be set at a certain figure/number just so the ccpm mixing would work correctly and not that they had any effect on the amount of travel the swash-plate ultimately moves.

I'm of the mind that its both just as long as you move all three in the same ratio's and also alter the servo links accordingly thing will be ok but ultermately so the sevo's are not over adjusted............i could well be wrong?
