walkera 68b setup advice

hello to all,
I have a walkera 68b heli i bought a few years ago in rtf form but when it arrived it would not fly i later found out it was the motor faulty, I have now decided to fix her up and have taken out the standard radio receiver and replace it with futaba but im not sure which servos go where in the rx i tried to use my raptor 60 as a reference but it has a different system also i beleive i need to alter the swash settings on my t8ups could anybody please help.

Hey There, First, Welcome to the Forum,


Swash settings should be set at 120,. give me a while and ile help you out with the servos

Not too sure on the servos.. your best bet would of been to note down what came out of the Walkera's Rx then Re-Install the same in the futaba Rx, give me some time to look at the layout and ile guide you trough, What i will say is the Gyro plugs into Channel 4 and the other one in Channel 5 for Head Locking Gyro (if Head Locking Gyro), The Speed controller / Motor wire plugs into the Channel 3 socket in the Rx

thanks callum i looked on my tx and tried to change the swash settings but could only find swh1 swh2 no 3 swh4 no relavence to 120.is there a site i can download a manual for my t8ups that you know of i would really appreciate it Thanks

ive tried looking but there is limited information do you have any other model name or number apart from T8UPS, for the swash plate setting, it probably will be the swh2 setting, but i could be wrong

Sorry bud i didnt think it is a Futaba T8UP (S) i think the S stands for super it is eight channel i think it is also called field force 8 it has a cam pac thing on the back which can be upgraded to 2.4ghz Thanks
