The Offset function in the mix program?( DX7) Book says it`s to redifine the neutral position of the slave channel. If it`s elev>throttle mixing, the slave would be the throttle right? What is the neutral position of the throttle and why would you need to redefine it when mixing. I would love to get my head round this one cos nobody else seems to know at the club!
When i dialed in 20% Elev>throt mix, i noticed the throttle linkage binding at full stick and cyclic deflection. (I know i will never fly with sticks in those positions) I thought the offset would stop that, but no. So i used sub trim, (L 75) which worked, but don`t know if i did right. i.e Does that affect my throttle curves? When i set up throttle linkage a year ago, the end points were H 130 and L110. When dialing in the cyclic mix, should i have re set the throttle first?. i.e. H end point to max (150) and then take the ball in a bit on the servo? Not sure about that because then i would be slowing the movement of the throttle down, and the link rod to servo arm would not be 90`.
Ohhh nooo, my head hurts, somebody help me, PLEASE.
