Indeed, do make sure the throttle stick is hard down in the off position and the throttle trim is set in the center.

Sometimes this can happen, also when you do the power up sequence, turn on the TX wait five seconds then connect the batt leads on the CX2 then leave all alone until a the green light is solid.

If your problem is more complicated then this I know when Ron reads this he'll know what to do.

I had a similar problem and I needed to turn the throttle trim almost all the way down before the esc would arm.

Shit I don't know, could it be an antenna problem on the RX? is the rear body pinching one of the servos as theres not much clearence between them, and even less if you change the red default body for say the Police bod'.

What a positively annoying problem, we do have some real experts on this forum, and I bet before the days out it's fixed, or if you've just purchased it under the long distance purchasing law you have the right to exchange it for another machine, but most genuine retailers even after the given time period would offer you a replacement.

Rod at Elite did for me, and I'd had mine nearly 8 months, but that was an extreme case, but contact your LHS and see if you can't just have a completely new replacement.

you guys have already pointed out the most obvious cause of this fault.

no throttle and trim down is best. also check your batteries are fully charged( just because the lights on the supplied charger say they are isnt gauranteed) make sure your tx batteries are ok. finally plug in and leave well alone for upto 30 secs! if the lights are still flashing give the right stick a little wobble this sometimes sets it.

My CX will not activate unless the trim is all the way down, my guess is yours will be the same.

Are you holding the heli upright when you set it, any other angle can cause your problem

you should connect the battery and put it down on a flat level surface, not hold it till it "arms".

If you have a CX" and a DX6 or 7 try this.
                      1. Reset a spare model on the transmitter to ACRO (airplane, not heli)

                      2. Set the throttle ATV on the transmitter to low 150%

                      3. Reverse channels 2 3 4

                      4. Set expos on aileron and elevator to +25% (or a little more)

                      5. Bind the DX2 reciever to the DX7 transmitter

I think the only thing I have to explain is the binding process:

                      5. Bind the DX2 reciever to the DX7 transmitter,
make sure flight battery is disconnected:

a:Start by plugging the binding plug into the "bat" slot in the RX.

b:Make sure to disconnect both motors to the RX for safety

c:Plug in flying battery, wait for the blinking orange LED.

d:While holding the "bind" button on the back of the DX7 turn on the
                      transmitter.
e:The blinking orange LED on the RX should pause then blink slowly.

f: Disconnect the flight battery and remove the binding plug from the RX

g:Cycle the power on the TX, make sure it's on.

h:Connect flight battery to th RX, check that you have servo control.
If the servos are moving correctly power down the RX.

i: With the flight battery dissconnected, reconnect the motor leads.

j: at this point you want to be off the desk and have the heli in an
open flying area, just in case you did something wrong.

                      k.Turn on Transmitter

l:Reconnect the flying battery and do a slow runnup making sure every
thing is moving the way it should, if it is, trim and fly.

                        Hi,

I have encountered this same problem following a slight convergence with the ground...

The fault appears to be in the receiver - I think the large electrolytic capacitor (black cylinder with white writing on it) has been damaged internally, or there is a stressed solder joint elsewhere on the board.

I can get my receiver working again by slightly twisting the board. I'll take it in to work and re-solder the joints to see what fixes the problem, and reply back (but it won't be until later next week).

                        Hope this helps,

I always put mine on a solid surface, then plug her in and get hands clear so she is rock steady. Red/Green flashing is defo a tx issue. check all your trims, make sure they are all centre and the throttle is bottomed out. When it's happening try pulling back on the throttle a touch that may help.
