Mini Vbar setup

Well it’s been a few years since I set up a logo 500 and it’s mini vbar, and after spending a few years away from the hobby I’m struggling to set another one up. Even worse I no longer have a lap top (it’s all tablets now) to plug it all in too. My old logo flies flawlessly still with no adjustments after more than 5 years.

Thing is though I’ve now got a logo 600 with mini vbar and I have no way of setting it up, can any body in the Norwich area assist me please?

Hey Andy.

With the absence of a PC/laptop you're other option would be a Bluetooth module and an Android phone/tablet with Mikados Vbar app on it.

That would allow you to run through the whole setup and make adjustments at the field wirelessly which is handy.

I used to sell some HV bluetooth modules, still have the odd one left, or can help with the basic LV one even. As I have the tools to rename the modules and pop a pin code on them.

Thanks Ian, unfortunately I'm an IOS user , maybe I will look at a cheap android tablet Ill keep you updated.

You're welcome buddy.

Ah, yeah sadly IOS isn't as easy to support I think compared to Android so some handy tools don't make it to both platforms.

There are loads of cheap tablets around, some on eBay from £35 up for example.
