  • vbar mini. analogue cyclic and digital tail settings

i have a 6s mini titan v1 with hxt900 analogue cyclic servos. in the vstabli software, how do i set my vbar for analogue cyclic servos. there is a small setting in the swash tab section, within the expert parameters subsection. but it appears only to do with linkage types. so im not confident its the right setting. ive read conflicting things in other places , like the vbar cannnot run analogue servos, or certain vstab software versions doesnt have the settings for analoge servos. its all a bit confusing. i think its the pro version of v 5 but it doesnt say pro anywhere in the software but it does have all the pro setup things so i assume it is. if i choose analoge servos, is that all i have to do for it to run analogue servos without damaging them. i was expecting servo type to have a lot more high lighted importance in the setup procedure than this hidden away minor parameter. the zyx has a whole page on servo type.

i have another servo question. my tail servo is a hk digital 15158a. i had a tarot zyx unit on this mini titan before (tail never held well in funnels which is why im changing fbl units) and i used the 1520us setting and it worked ok apart from not holding in funnels. which tail servo setting is equivalent in the vbar software, or can u suggest the best for this tail servo. its funny, i have another zyx mini titan (a 3s one) with similar servo and that holds really well, so i think the 6s mt's zyx is faulty. ive tried different servos and all sorts of settings but it wont hold. i hope the change to vbarmakes the tail solid. thanks

The one in the swash expert setting is the correct one for analogue servos.

Tail servo is chosen in the tail tab. You'll need 9254/9257/Savox/JR8900. Those are all 1520 centre.

Don't count on the Vbar fixing your tail. A good servo makes a world of difference.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

if you have Pro, you can tick analogue in swash expert, but not be available if your on express software.

thanks guys. ive just done a rough basic set up and everything seems to work great. all the servos sound fine. really like the ease of use of this thing. i love the way the cyclic servos dont respond to gyro input while your setting up the center positions of servos. the zyx is much harder as it responds to the gyro all through the set up, so you have to make sure its level and you dont move it. coupled with them supplying a ridiculously short cable, it makes set up of servos a nightmare. but this ebar is about as simple as its possible to do it. also not much of a fan of the LED beastx set up procedure on my goblin either. too abstract and you have to refer back and forth to the manual constantly, so you might as well use a pc screen in first place. i may have some other questions tomorrow but im happy with my progress for now. cheers

i had a break from setting up, and i started again today. i now have a question about the swash movement which seems odd to me compared to my previous zyx.

when you apply collective, is the swash supposed to move up completely straight with the heli level, because mine doesn't. the right aileron does not move as much. when i hold the heli and move it a bit, the swash seems to move up more evenly. i was thinking the fbl unit might be acting on one servo to level the swash or something. otherwise i guess theres something wrong with my set up or the servo. im relectant to test fly if the heli is likely to bank over. cheers

if you have 90 degree them in setup will be fine in the air.
