Have to agree about the 180 but only after a few mods and latest software.It still would be a handful for a complete beginner .

Indeed. I was more making the point that the 180 is a truly well designed small heli that isn't difficult to work on. It's no beginner heli though - not by a long stretch! I'm curious what difference, if any, the Startan VX1p will make to it. Tempted to get one to try out.Tom
