You can't really, are there any led's that give you a clue, I'd be looking for green ones. The manual looks as if it's 35meg IE has it got a long pull out aerial or a rubber one about 4 inches long

First thing to check is if the battery is charged (check voltage with a multimeter, just because it was on the charger doesn't mean it's charged) and/or if there is a bad connection or broken wire between the battery and the control board.

End of the day though it's not IMHO really worth spending too much time, effort and money chasing a fault on these toy grade helis.

Some of these helis have a safe start built into them, make sure your throttle is at low and that the trim if there is one is low too and then try again

          Found this

          1. Switch on the heli first b4 the remote
          2. Switch on the remote (make sure left stict at minimum)
          3. Push the left stick to maximum. Wait for 1 - 2 second and push back to minimum. Its will beep. Try switch off the light to ensure both remote and rc are in contact. if not repeat step 3
