  • Sat antennas clear tubing

Has anybody got a link for the clear tubing that some put over the (Spektrum) satellite antenna wires to keep them straight and protect them?

    TIA!

I just use normal heatshrink tubing in black or clear depending what I have to hand: Various Sizes & Lengths Clear Heat Shrink Tube Sleeving Car Wire Wrap Heatshrink | eBay

These days I more often use the Lemon Rx sats which have much stiffer antenna so don't need tubing added.

I use small Lynx fuel tubing. I'll post part number later when at home

Both are correct. Fuel tubing as used on nitro helicopters is fine and so is heat-shrink tubing. I've used both in the past and generally go with heat shrink on small antennas and fuel tube on the long antennas used on AR600 and AR500 type receivers.

Ive used both fuel tube and heat shrink to,mainly use the latter due to the fuel tubing falls off, specially on nitro where is gets messy.

Lynx do a 1mm silicon tube that grips the little plastic pips on the case of the sat and stays on really well

Apologies for the OT - but where are you buying the Lemon Rx's from - I tried to buy some but their site wouldn't let me ...

Lemon now have a UK distributor so no longer sell to the UK direct from China: https://buy.4props.com/receivers/type.html

So they aren't quite as cheap as they were but you get them quicker (if in stock).

I can't find it, Lynx don't even list any longer. Essentially a silicon tube with a 1-2mm inner diameter

This worked well for me. Arrived in couple of days and was a nice push fit.
