Blade 450x trim,

After a small rebuild with 450, it would spool up then stop,
dont know how but I had a hunch, leave it, then after a while give it a go, I am talking a few weeks, so tonight took it out and bingo popped in the air no problem, only had one battery charged so that was it, now when I checked trim on rudder it was as far left as it would go, so charged battery again with centre trim and it just kept spinning, put it back to far left and worked ok, any ideas what's wrong,

i take it shouldn't been flown like this, or is it ok,

Looks like you have 2 problems there.

For the rudder problem I would first try re-binding your Tx with the rudder trim set at neutral. I suspect that you bound it previously with the rudder trim far left and the controller now thinks that's neutral. As it's an FBL controller, definitely don't try to fly it with any trim.

The first problem would worry me much more. Never rely on the "healing shelf" to fix things for you. Chances are if it did it once it will do it again sooner or later. Very hard to diagnose though if it's working okay right now! Maybe a loose wire somewhere? Power it up without blades and try wiggling your motor, esc and battery wires to see if it stops again.

After sleeping on it, the rebind is my thoughts,
take your point about healing shelf, will give it a look over tonight,

After rebinding and a look for loose wires etc, I have found problem with spool up and stop, one of the batteries was duff, so on initial spool up it was spinning with the little charge that was in battery then stopping,
i have a battery tester now,

A problem I had with my 450x sounds very similar dude, turned out the esc was knackered, I found this out after the beastx lost power and it hit the deck!
The tail, if you still have the issue after rebinding move your servo or adjust the length of the pushrod until you have 0 pitch on the blades with the servo at centre. Really you want a little nose right rudder when the servo is central to counter the torque but Il leave that to someone a bit cleverer to try explain lol

Just done a pack with 450x, all well now, I must invest in more packs and a charging system, down to one battery now.
