I used the beastx a few years ago and I had the same problem, I could never overcome this even by altering the lengths of the pushrods so I just got it as close to 6 degrees until the blue light came on and it flew just fine

Are you using the inner holes on the servo horns? or you can try shorter horns. If you have tried these and still cant get 6 degrees with blue light you should be able to get 6 degrees with a red light. I have flown many models with the 6 degrees on a red light with no problems. I would rather have the 6 degrees with red than go over 6 to get blue. Try everything you can to shorten the effect of the servo throw on the blade pitch, try alternative mounting holes in the swash etc or different length of shaft on the metal balls

Yeah, the BeastX user manual (see below) makes a big point of calibrating exactly to 6 deg, the light is just for info to tell you whether or not you have optimum servo travel.

"Always set the cyclic pitch to 6 degrees! This setup does not affect the maximum rotation rate of the helicopter but is only there to show and teach MICROBEAST PLUS the actual mechanical cyclic geometry and to estimate servo throws. A wrong adjustment at this step may be extremely detrimental to the performance of MICROBEAST PLUS. The blue color of the Status-LED is secondary and just for information. Do not try to get a blue Status-LED by any means. For example if the LED only lights up red when the pitch is set to 6° then use this adjustment anyway but keep in mind that your helicopter‘s head geometry is not perfect. Do not adjust 7° for instance just because the Status-LED does become blue there! "
