  • Walkera Master CP Binding

    Hi Guys,

I am having binding issues with my Master CP and Devo 7 transmitter. As I understand (and yes I am new to this hence the question) when the transmitter and receiver bind correctly the red light on the heli should be constant. However on mine it remains flashing and I don't appear to have full control of the heli. Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

    cheers

    Pete

Usually with walkera transmitters have a 10 sec bind windows, so if you're doing a random Id bind you've got to be quick plugging in your battery after you've switched your transmitter on. A fast flash on the receiver means it's looking to bind, A slow flash means you have a fixed Id and will have to reset it by using a bind plug in the battery port. Make sure you've set your transmitter to Random bind mode , sorry I don't know my way around the stock devo firmware, I use the deviation software, but you can't use it with the devo 7..

Thanks tried using teh bind plug but even with the plug in battery port Im still getting a fast flashing light on the receiver. Having looked I think its meant to be a slow flashing light.

Please someone help as I want to fly my new toy :-)

I'm sorry to say ..looks as if something isn't working..either the transmitter or receiver..Make sure you're on random bind and you haven't set a bind id. Switch on tx then plug the help in immediately. .It should bind within 10 secs. .or there's something wrong with the hardware..sorry that's all the help I can offer as I don't own the model or that transmitter..just the 8s and 12s
