Hi guys I'm adding telemetry to my new trex500 using the tm1100 module and gpro fbl I understand how to wire to the tm1100 but which channel is which on the ar8000 one says gear which I'm assuming is planes a picture says a thousand words so I'll just upload one since I've probably explained that terribly basically I'd like to know if I've done this right? Also do the wires to to the bottom on the ar8000 or at the top of the plug it doesn't say in the manual
    thanks

The signal wires go to bottom, so it's correct as you have it.

Most FBL controllers use 'Gear' as the gyro gain control. The old 3GX was an exception, it used Aux2 for gyro gain and gear was unused. I'm not sure if the Gpro follows the 3GX or has lined up with most other FBL controllers and uses gear for gyro. A Gpro owner might confirm

I think I've worked it out now mate when I set up a new model in my dx8 I can inhibit channels etc so I just need to set them the way I've wired if my logic is correct? Just need yo get some batteries to suit a trex 500 then I've got the fun of working out how set up the gpro I'm hoping because I've added the Bluetooth module it will be easier fingers crossed

Wiring looks spot on, you should also connect the 3 core cable from the bat out on the Gpro to one of the open channels on the AR8000 to supply power,
also remember to choose the gear channel in the gyro menu on the DX8.

Should find the Gpro easy to setup as software is very intuitive unlike the old 3gx!

        good luck!
