    Hi
I have converted my blade 450 3d to fbl using spartan vx1e which i have on my trex 600 dfc.The problem i am having is when i have finished the setup the status light is blue but as soon as i plug in the motor it turns red.My 600 is blue ready to fly any suggestions greatly appreciated.

When you say 'plug in the motor' do you mean just generally when you connect the pack to power-up? I have found that on my helis some are very sensitive to any movement when the unit is booting up and I have to make sure the heli is completely still or I'll get a red light. Sometimes I just flew with the red light anyway after I realised why it was happening.

But if it's very secure and cannot rock around when powering up then it's prob something else.

      Hi trillian
I disconnected 3 motor wires prior to setup reconnected them and plugged in main power to esc that is when i get red light. I will try again and see if i am moving it slightly, but works every time without motor wires connected.

Cool! Hopefully that's all it is. With mine I found that just that bit of movement if it was windy was enough to get the red light.
