  • servo center

Hi guys, im guessing all servos are basically the same but just incase these are from my blade 180cfx. Some of you may of seen that it went it last week and I stripped the gears on one servo,
I already had the metal gear upgrade for the stock servos so last night I dropped them all in, I made sure to double check the full travel of the servos before I stripped them so I could mechanically center them before refitting, one gear on each servo has a sort of stopper, obviously to stop the servo rotating 360 so I fitted this along the center line of the servo, then the servo horn a 90 to the case where it would be at mid stick or 0 pitch. My problem now is that when I powered up the heli all 3 servos moved to different positions?! Do I now need to either enter the advanced menu of the heli and center the servos via the rx/fbl unit or do it just remove the horns and re fit in place that the rx considers center?
    If that makes sense lol

Thats what I thought dude, I can only guess that when the gear stripped and the fbl was still trying to level the swash the motors have kept on spinning. Il try now and hope I still get full travel lol

If you have rebuilt the servos you will need to redo the centering.
Set the trim in FBL in the advanced menu back to zero, then refit the servo arms so they are as close to 90 degrees as possible, then trim to exactly 90 with the electronic trim in the FBL.
        Align 700N
        Align 600N
        Align 550L
