hi allnew here and to flying, got a raptor 30 v2, and looking for someone in wales to look at it to see if its all set right, and to check all the settings, i done a rebuild to the instructions, got all starting but it seems to want to go forward or side wards, before go in to hover, as i said im new to all this and no one around me to help me out, got a lot of info off the net, but think it needs that export touch,

thanks a lot guys, hope some out there could spare some time

Doesn't look like anyone else lives in Wales then! As long as you have centred servos, set the servo arms to 90, leveled the swash at mid stick/throttle, and got all trims to centre when setting up, it should be ok, just get it off ground and hover it and adjust any movement/drift with your sticks. If it drifts dramatically (in no wind) you can adjust servo arms accordingly. Get a sim to practise and teach your thumbs what to do. Good luck.

I'm in wales..but the other side of welshpool and there's a heck of a lot of flying clubs closer than that! Mind you if the OP fancies a drive I'm happy to check it out: my fields have dried, the helipad is mowed... I even finallygot on top of playing catchup with field work and have a heli on charge....

        Hi Kev,
I'm in Wales as well but 150 miles north. I think your best bet is to join a club that caters for helies. Check out the BMFA club finder, here's a link to a Cardiff club - cardiffmac - Cardiff Model Aircraft Club There's also a club in Llantrisant I think. I would say don't fly it until it's been checked over by someone who knows what's what.

        Good luck, stay safe.
