hi all, this is my first post on here. my name is robert

i have just got myself a blade nano, the problem is it does not fly. i tried putting it on full throttle but still does not fly but as i ease it off abit then it starts to lift but it does not go up much. im not sure if it is the settings or what. i hope someone understands this problem

    many thanks

As a Nooob myself, you are switching on the transmitter first setting the throttle and throttle trim all the way down, then switching on the helii ?
Also make sure you don't move the heli for at least 5 seconds so it will sink together...

    Hope this helps..

You have also put the throttle trim to the lowest setting?

It took me a few day to work out how much throttle is needed, also when I first started I would panic and shut the throttle off, have a little faith, if it gets out of control shut the throttle down and let drop to the floor and start again, it worked for me after a few crashes,

As mentioned above, turn on DX6i first, wait a few seconds then connect battery to ncpx. Do not move the heli while it is initialising or you will send it mental!

Check the main gear is pushed up snug on the main shaft, this is usually the first culprit when it struggles to lift off.

If it's too sensitive, reduce your settings in the DX6i as follows:-

D/R & EXPO - 65% rates and 30% expo also try 55% rates and 20% expo, sometimes too much expo makes you over correct.

Pitch curve - 40, 45, 50, 75, 100 this will reduce the negative pitch which will slam the heli into the ground if you panic and drop the throttle too quickly and so will help reduce damage. Don't use this setting outside though or wind will cause you problems as you won't be able to descend! Go back to stock settings for outside.

Let us know if these help.

                      Cheers

                      Rob

thank you for that but i already sorted it, i had the throttle on reverse.

it is still very twitchy though, i have it on 40 dr and 50 expo. will that be ok?

The more expo you have the further you will have to move the sticks from centre before you get a reaction. This can make it harder to control as you can over correct when you're trying to pull the heli back. Less expo will make it feel more responsive etc. just keep fiddling with different settings till you find one you like but keeping your rates as you have them will keep it nice and docile. Put the bullet blades on too (if you haven't already) as this makes it more stable.
