    Indoor Flying - Horsham West Sussex

    Just thought I would post an update to let everyone know we are still flying indoors in Horsham, we have moved sports halls from Millais School to Farlington school near Broadbridge Heath and now fly on Tuesday evenings from 8pm until 9.30pm and cater for both helis, quads and fixed wing in timed slots.

    Cost is only £3 per evening

    Our next meetings are:-

    Feb 4th and18th
    March 4th and 18th

      Good to hear that it is still going. What size is the new hall, is it bigger than the Millais one?

        Kevin, hall is a similar size to Millais, but has more headroom and the light is much better. If you go bigger the rent goes through the roof. I have some pictures but not sure how to post on here. I will upload some in the next few days on our club website wwww.hdrcmc.co.UK . there may be a video under the free flight section on Sussex indoor flying.blogspot.co.UK. as we had a free flight evening back in Nov.

          Thanks, I will try to come along one of the evenings. I now have some smaller helis and planes to fly, so should be fine.

                Glad you enjoyed it, we try to keep the evening fairly relaxed but also ensure that people can get the maximum flying time possible.

                Keep an eye out, as we are in the process of organising the flying at the Sumner Ponds Model Show near Horsham, where we will have two days of flying including some night flying on the Sat night. Camping on the site is free for those participating. Promises to be a good weekend.

                      We are flying tomorrow night at Farlington, should be another good evening. Anyone coming for the first time shouldbaim to arrive about 7:45pm.
