I know exactly what you mean there Dave! Hopefully we'll be home for the next one! I'm really pleased to hear everyone had a great day and if my eyes do not deceive me I'm sure Snowy said that Harry's 90 was flying???? It must have been T-shirt weather for that to fly!!

It flew indeed, a whole two tanks! Spent most of the day dropping out the engine and reattaching the fan hub as it came loose when I tried to start it. I really need to triple check these things!

Thanks to killer for sorting it all out, thanks to the framer for letting us use his field and finally thanks to Ian, Jason and others (sorry I didn't catch your names) for help with the engine.

Gutted i missed out , Cheryls birthday and just couldnt get away. Never spend a sunday with her as im usually out flying or doing hobby related things. Couldnt tell her im going flying on her birthday now could i? lol Sounds like you all had fun anyways. Rang Stu last night to see how it went and he was gutted he couldnt get their either. Next time

I had exactly the same problem with my X50. Red lock tight sorted it in the end! I was told by some it's ok to do and by others not to but I was well annoyed with the fan coming loose so went ahead and did it. So far so good... until I want to take the fan off!

I only managed a couple of hours due to other commitments but enjoyed it. Went far too quick though.

Are these events going to be a regular feature? If so could do with a little bit more notice to spread the word around.

This could be the start of a decent fun fly event in the northeast if killer can get this location again later in the year what do you think !
