Just wanted to know if there were any local flying clubs in the area. Only started myself a few months ago and would like to get out and see how its done properly.
Milton Keynes has a great club. I don't get the time to go myself but it has a very good reputation.
SAB Goblin 380 KSE - latest love thang
Lynx OXY 3 - my mini flagship!
Blade 180 CFX - field beater for new moves Blade Red Bull BO-105 CB 130 X - scale fun flying at the field when the tail isn't broken, which is not often.
Blade mCPX - sold Blade Nano QX - house fly of choice Blade mCX2 - retired but will be back when the kids get a bit bigger
Spektrum DX8 - for everything
neXt sim - the sim I started out with
Heli-X sim - my new favourite sim!
Sorry, haven't been there myself. But I'm sure you'll get some responses from MK club members soon enough.

Hey Rich, yes MK heli is a great club and home to MK Grass Roots comp and of course Baz the chairman. I've been a member for around 8 years and a member of the committee for around 5, we don't take ourselves too seriously and sometimes we don't even fly happy to take the **** out of each other and drink tea.
Take a look at the website and come up, no appointment necessary, introduce yourself have a cuppa and as long as you've got insurance either BMFA or RCHA bring a heli and have a fly.

I havnt got any insurance as yet (something i need to look into) but i love a cuppa Tea so i may pop up sometime, introduce myself and have a watch .
Rich
Insurance can be done in advance for £5 (not sure how long that lasts though might just be or a day) as per regulation for BMFA affiliated clubs - just contact Baz to sort it out if needed ...
