Guy it's cool but sometimes people have to make their own mistakes, it's called evolution , that's why we have only two arms but three would be really useful.
I have met Guy in person and he's a nice Guy , really , lol
:-) Rachel
Heh, I'd be scared to see you with three arms! Me personally, if I'm gonna evolve, I'd love to be able to fly!
Anyway, when are you getting yours? So you can tell us, honestly, what it's like to fly it?
Actually in view of past MCPX threads it was suppost to bring a bit of humor and fun to the forum, thats what mod's do as well as , not just Lemoning the masses.lol

If my title offends it wasnt supost to .

lets have some fun and banter

I WILL give my verdict on the mcpx when I have had it a while, and don't fear if its pants I will say so. whoops there goes my Horizon sponsorship.

Lighten up all its a hobby not a war.
No, I was not really offended at all. It was meant to be a humerous remark, most definitely not related to helis. We do lose a lot without verbal communication. Apart from the double meaning in the title, a good war is fine. It is strange that people can disagree so much, especially when we all share the same interest in helis. I haven't tried the mcpx yet. It does sound an ideal introduction to inverted flying, especially over long grass. For the a flybarless heli for the price of a reasonable gyro sounds ok. At the moment I find learning inverted more interesting with a 450. How many more interesting events it will take before I get an mcpx is an ongoing question.
Its the only heli have owned that im fully relaxed when flying :)

Im no 3d god but i get plenty of enjoyment thinking i am with mine because im so daring with it!

4 minutes of pure fun :applause:

That looked good. I can fly some of that stuff on the sim and some with my 450 and I've had an msr and an awful Walker 4#3B which just hovers and not much else. The mcpx looks a good intro to basic 3D. I liked the catch.

I enjoy mine but I do think there is such a thing as 'hype'! I'm wanting to start inverted backwards flight but unfortunately even with the boom mod the tail lets go far too often. After reading numerous posts on this forum I was convinced that the boom mod was the be all and end all of the tail problems but I soon realised my expectations are unrealistic with regards to that. Maybe it works perfect where there is no wind but when it's windy I do find the tail lets go too easily when inverted.
Mind you I did buy mine knowing it was a bit of fun and I don't really class it in the same bracket as my other heils. It looks toyish and feels toyish but is great fun and certainly has it's uses. I do however feel there is a lot of hype surrounding the mcpx which it doesn't fully live up too.

Just let it lie .... eh :)
Excellent advice from the man that went to all the trouble of producing a video with the sole aim of slagging down Align starters, a product that many people (inc me) are happy with.

Its the same old story if your face fits round here you can say what you like.

Got any more stones you want to throw around in that glass house Richie? :)

I find it a little sad that a thread I started to bring a little humor to the site has now developed in to a grudge match !
Guy, I have just read your comment ref face fitting and that's sad too, you need to get back to you very funny post ref the mcpx I so loved when you sold it, I do feel things may be getting a little personal now.
It might be a time to sort things via pm ?
There will always be two camps the for and the against, your point is firmly made.

As for the mcpx, I wanted a bot of fun With a small heli, some practice at backward flight, etc.
Let's face it it's a baby heli that will fly inverted for the cost of a box of fuel, it's got to be worth a go, heavens above a set of blades for my Env costs almost as much so if the mcpx saves just one crash it's worth every penny .
Let's all get a grip please..
Today's the day my baby helie comes.
X Rachel
