I dont think so , the idea is to keep moving along the flightline in a straight line , not pull up just rotate (flip) 90 degrees , keep moving along the line by applying negative pitch pointing straight up but moving parallel to the ground, add a piro or too and forward flip out and fly away.
      hope this helps.

It's at times like this whenI wish I could get phoenix running properly on my MAC. Don't fancy trying that one for the first time with a real heli, unless with LOOOOAAAADS of height in reserve.

I guess the real skill is co-ordinating the nose-up pull with the application of negative pitch such that no height is lost or gained. Tricky one, that (for me). I like the fact that there's no cyclic-stirring though.

As for names, I feel that tail-down without a piro, "the windmill" sounds absolutely perfect. Adding the piros in changes the appearance to more of a "spiral" or "corkscrew" but I don't know if those names have already been used.

Perhaps, to make it sound more exciting, something like 'windmill of death' , or 'suicide windmill'.:)

Umm, Windmill? You sure about that name..........it means something else.........or so I've heard. All the guys might know it. Lol.

Sounds like a tail stand from forward flight to me.

Heres a quick vid of what I think your describing.

Skip to 1:50 and you will see I come along the flight line, back flip to iverted and carry on to an inverted climb out.

Think its what your on about just without any piro's in there
