hi i am new here not sure where to post but i would love to take this sport up i currently stuck in a wheelchair as my epilepsy is out of controle i thought maybe i could meet some new freinds i dont get out much and love helicopters i am wondering does anybody have some spare magazines that they do not wish to keep ifso may you send me some please i dont have money which is i guess going to be a problem thankyou aimee

Welcome along honney :) you will find folk very friendly her and there are a few Girl pilots too :coolgleamA:

I too have a pile of mag's I can send and will happily do so but whats your interest , tell us what you like about the sport / hobby Is it scale ? (helis that look real) or what we call pod and boom ? (really just stunt helicopters)
There is so much choice , electric, engine powered (oil & smelly) There are even little electric helis you can fly in you kitchen and are fab fun :)

You can even learn to fly at home on a simulator on you pc which is very good practice, & fun too.

How old are you I am guesing from the modern way Aimee is spelt you are quite young ?

As for your epillepisy , It's not a huge issue modern radios Have a system where they can be linked up , called buddy boxing , which means at the flick of a switch you are flying and if anything goes wrong your instructor has instant control back ,so It's no big deal.
