Looks like it's in bloody good condition, I've been so close to hitting the button on a couple lately, a 1982 Fantic Like This One and a TY250

I've got nowhere to keep it really but just the nostalgia kicking in I think, first field bike was one of these Raleigh Wisp closeley followed by this Puch Maxi and then my Dad feeling sorry for me got me one of these Gilera Enduro, those were the days

Always fancied the Yamaha TDR 250 as a 'memory lane' toy, loved these when I was younger

and another 1.9 205 GTI (sold when the kids were born, for a people carrier...)

Never had a DT50 or 80 but had a fizzy/FS1E. No auto lube straight in the tank. Bel Ray 2T i can smell it like it was yesterday! :)
Your new bike looks very good. Do you plan on a nut and bolt rebuild?

From RD 350/400 through Suzuki triples up to a Z900 the one i remember most is the x7 .

Kool bike m8y, i had a DT50 when i was 16, went to the DT 125 at 17, passed test on that then a 350lc, the 125 to the 350lc was a bigger jump in power than i expected, had the shakes(me not the bike lol ) first few times i rode it, went onto the NS 400 after that, wierd sounding bike being a V3, then onto a RG500 (wish i still had it now) :(

all the fireblades and r1s i rode after that never excited me like riding that RG500, and the smell :D
