Look at Parkers Jewellers in Sheffield pal

Bought Omega seamaster quartz, traded it for an automatic, then to a Breitling superocean

Like Kev said, theyll retain value far better than the hamilton - just my 2 penneth :)

Yep - I've just bought a Breitling too - best watches in the world if judged based on the fact EVERY mechanism is fully independently tested - no other manufacturer does this - not even Rolex! Mainly bought it because I love the look of it though!

I like both Rolex and Breitling. my liking is because they have a proper movement in them rather than a quartz.

Like Ben said the Daytona is a great looking watch, but damn with my eyes its hard to tell the time with lol.
        All the best

I've had & been wearing my Breitling colt automatic for over 7 years now, still look at it every day & appreciate its looks & not just to tell the time.
They're the best watches out there, for looks, function & movement imo.

            I have a Hamilton watch.

It's not the model pictured. Mine is a 3 time zone one (navy GMT). I really like it. I paid about £400 for it(new) a couple of years ago, and you really get a lot for your money compared to other brands that use the same movements. An omega with the same movement as mine (eta 2893) would cost you about 4 times as much.

I love good watches, but im not rich enough. The price of a couple of Rolexs I'd like is my almost annual income. I'm about to buy a car for about £2.5K and every time I think about spending that kind of money, I think about the black Seamaster diver I could buy that I've been wanting since it came out.

If I ever win the lottery, i'll think nothing of spending £100 grand plus on watches. I'd like a Lange 1 for a start and last time I looked they were over £20k.

Thanks forr yhe comment jus what i wanted to hear =D when they get the one yhat was on sale delivered to the shop [ well If haha ]

Thanks for all the other comments aswell but at the moment I can only afford 700 tops for a watch so the rolexes and that are out as I just don't have that amount of money. I do understand the quality you get with those brands but just not after that kind of watch yet I like big bulky ones witch this one fits the bill

When and of I get it hope I do like I will do a mini review and add sow

Tag aren't really a watch brand, they're a marketing company. Heuer was the real watch brand, and made some classic watches.

I was given my Rolex oyster for my 16th birthday by my dad, It's all stainless and very unobtrusive. Only two people have ever noticed at work, both rolex owners and I've never had anyone notice when out on the town. A good sales man can see one from a 1000 yards so be warned :D

I used to work in a jewellers many moons and I was the 'watch' guy. Fell in love with so many, all the expensive one's. IMHO branded watches such as Hugo, Armani etc are fairly inexpensive watches and you are paying for the name. If you want a real decent watch something like a Tag, Breitling, Raymond Veil or my personal fave Omega are great. I had the '007' watch (Omega Seamaster) for quite a while when I worked there. Shame I had to give it back when I left.

I only have a Raymond Veil now for when I put my best frock on. :)
