    Car insurance

    well it's that time of year again...car insurance renewal.

    Nearly collapsed when I opened my renewal, just over £1500! more than double last years premium.
    so time to get some other quotes...

    adrianflux.co.uk got it down to £515. Massive result....cheaper than last year :)

    if it helps to save some money for helis then it's all good in my book.

    We just moved to Northern Ireland and got quoted £3200 for two cars with our current insurer!! My wife got online and got us with Admiral for £850 :-) Couldn't believe it, bloody outrageous.
    Trex 500ESP - Scorpion motor, CC ice 75 esc. Spartan Quark gyro, Std Align servos
    Knight Sport - Spartan/BLS251, Hyper 50, 3050's on cyclic, 3D mixer arms
    Outrage Fusion 50 - Viper 700kv, 14t, Align servos, Spartan, 8s, Hobbywing 100HV. Maidened - Love it, set up to fly really smooth :-)

      i just renewed for my second year under my own policy happy that it dropped over £120 from first year :)
      Century Robinson R22 (waiting engine replacement)(job 2)

        Ah, the benefits of age. I have just renewed my car insurance fully comp for £164. My bike too, a Honda VFR 800, fully comp with legal and breakdown cover...£121. :cheers2:

          I would have thought me being 40 would have kept the price down !

                Im not happy! now have to declare points for 5 years now not 3! was hoping to get insured as a main driver this year but nope! my 1.4 Rover for myself to drive is £600 TPFT or can get £450 fully comp with £1k excess. If I go as a named driver again like last year I pay £250 TPFT.

                The silly thing is the main policy holder has had a ban for drink driving, yet it is still over twice as cheap???

                  My insurance has doubled this year because last year someone ran into the back of me and the claim isnt settled yet - not been settled because they got a 'witness' to lie for them and say that I cut them up! Problem to go to court because of conflicting witness statements - 1 true the other a pack of lies - what can you do......
