Well, after over nearly 29yrs working for the civil service, my current job goes into the 'early voluntary retirement' slot.

I've had the 'take early retirement' (at 50yrs old) or have 'compulsery retirement' at half the price, thrust upon me, threat.

I've decided that a volunteer is better than ten pushed men..... & will be gone by the end of March.

Wasn't in my plans, but will take advantage where possible. It's a different world at the mo in any case.

Lets make hay while the sun shines....... I may be flying all of April?

That's rubbish, sorry mate, tough times at the minute, our contract for Lincoln council ends at the end of march, don't know what the company has planned after that...

We have had our 'with consent' age to retire early, moved from 50 to 55 and have been asked to pay more in to the fund to clear the deficit :(

And no, your are never ever to old to appreciate a fine arse, the only trouble is you are called a perv ;-)
