Over the last 10 years or so, prime time terrestrial TV has become completely and utterly overrun with this rubbish. If it's not X Factor, it's Jungle, or Talent, or Ice Skating, or Ballroom Dancing, or another endless list of mindless tripe. But as has been suggested already, it's all about the phone calls and the profit. The one thing that all these shows have got in common, other than talentless wannabees is a public vote. It's on pretty much 52 weeks of the year now, often on several channels at once, and repeated several times a week.

Can't be doing with any of it. Complete and utter sh1te. Unfortunately,my computer is in the living room, and my Mrs watches all of it, so I've got it droning on right behind me right now!

That is true but if he wins it means they have to give a contract to a complete waster rather than someone who is only slightly crap :D I just love watching him cringe everytime Wagner has been put through ;)

As Steve said above it's the public voters who are being screwed unfortunately most are so thick they can't see it and phone up and vote multi times for their favourite lost cause :(

I agree :) I am also AMAZED that there are 32 heli pilots who care enough about Xfactor to vote in this thread..... its sad :( :ack2:
