We're off on our main annual family hols in a few weeks, and I'm thinking about how to carry our spending money.
Traditionally, I've always been one for travellers cheques as I like the idea that they're covered by travel insurance in the event that they get nicked or lost, rather than cash.
But nowadays we have the option of pre-paid credit cards, which seems a good idea in principal - the same security but without the hassle of having to actually change and collect local currency from bureaux.
Any thoughts?
