Any sentence that starts with "watch this love " can only end badly
Well decided to take the polecat for a fly today and for a change the missus came with me . After warming up the OS and triming it a little i took off for a couple of circuits to make sure all was well , as you do you start to get a little cocky few stall turns knife edge fly by's ect ect . recenty iv'e been pracising low level prop hangs , so the immortal words left my mouth , "watch this love " little elevator , a little throttle and bang ! . im prop hanging baby . a foot or two off the deck , oh yeah a little lower , a little lower , then the engine starts to lean out , Oh sh*t ,like it's runnin low on go go juice , so loads or throttle to get some height but to late , engine stops while it's still nose up , needless to say it wasnt nose up for long , it hit the deck belly first :( end result one polecat in need of serious repair and my ego seriously damaged to

yeah i'll get the camera out tomorrow when i weigh up whether it's getting rebuild or not :( wont do that again in a hurry . from first glance it looks like the fusalage needs the film stripping off and a full set of stringers along the belly , landing gear is splayed out sidways and what ever else i find as the film comes off, not expencive to repair only the cost of the film and balsa or base wood
