well they added it then, and if your learning to fly planks with this its a steep learning curve, as dont think you can set the expo range on that x box style thing. get a dx6i :) als sells it at £80 squid :) the x box thing will be ok with the mustang though! what do you think butmuncher?

Well i seen a video on utube of some1 trying to fly a sukhoi, they could'nt do it there was too much twitchyness, like full on everything.
Allso after having a minium edge 540 with its controller i know that xbox style controll sticks are not very good.
If you cvan afford it i'd say go with the dx6i tx only but then if you do that you may aswell get the xp aswell.

To clarify things a bit. THe SU26M is available as RTF as is the P51 I believe. The decision was made to not supply the SU26XP (the new model) as a RTF model due to the extra responsiveness of the model as they have fitted longer throw servos. It was decided that the plane would be too twitchy without having dual rates and expo available on the TX.

Think all the info is in this video

Sorry butmuncher for totally hijacking your thread mate:cheers2:, just needed to no about the stock tx. Glad I asked, was seconds away from buying the su 26m rtf for £77.

The cheapest I have seen the su26m is 45 BNF, and I was looking at a cheap tx, the dx5e is about £40 new. So that may be a choice? Don't want to splash on the dx6i, wouldn't be worth it for the odd parkzone plane in the future:).

I have no idea:) Looking at it again it doesn't look like it, would have liked one of these parkzone flyers for a mess around in the local park. But not at the price of a dx6i too.

OK not really the v2 related but OMG how much fun. I'v not flown a plank for 20 years (i had a piper cub trainer 20 years ago and never really got past training). But iv been out with my sukoi v1 tonight and what a blast. This was its first outing and was trimed and flying straight within 2mins. second battery i was looping it doing stall turns and flying inverted. i did crash abit but not asmuch as i thought i would and never broke anything at all. this little thing is a blast. Need to order more batterys now. i need about 20 i think lol:cheers2:

I have a 15 pack of turnigy 160mah 30c 1s lipos for sale for £27 inc free registered delivery, there not the best for the xp, last about 5/6min each with alittle less power than the stock xp battery, think there powerfuller than the stock M battery though.

One of my xp's has developed a terrible squeeling niose that makes the plane lose all power, its unusable and everything is stright and free flowing, am trying to send it back fopr a replacement, boo.

Horizon replaced the xp that had devolped a terrible squeel resulting in loss of power.
Am well pleased as that was the first 1 i had, had 5 super days from it till it started to just go iffy, must of just been a bad one as my other one is still going very strong, and the other is still in it's box unused so i have 2 unused 1 and 1 perfect 1, hoorah for me ;).
Even got another battery and charger making 4 eflite 150mah, 5 mini aviation 180mah, 4 hyperion 160mah and of course 15 turnigy 160mah making that a grand total of 28 batteries lol .
The Turnigy are not quite as powerfull as the others and they supply around 5-7 minutes flights, nothing to grumble about though as the was dirt cheap.
Am happy to sell the Turnigys as a 15 pack for £27 inc post ;).
