  • Parkzone ultra micro Mustang

Whoops, dont know what came over me.

Went to my lhs today to pick up some heli bits and ended up coming out with a Parkzone Ultra Micro P51D Mustang :blush5:

Not had the chance to fly it yet, but just wondered if anybody else has tried one of these and what they thought of it ?

i have the little su. 26 bnf its a little twitchy but flies very nicely once you get used to it. i think the mustang uses all the same electronic parts the only difference being the fuse' and prop.

Yup, saw the su 26 as well. :)
To be honest it was just an impulse buy on my behalf and I just preferred the look of the Mustang.

Well with a bit of luck I shall get the chance to try it out some time next week.
Wil keep it stock at first just to see what its like. Then probably start messing with the servo links once I've got a feel for it.
I'm surprised you say it handled gusts of 20 mph as it just feels so light.

Looking forward to giving it a try :)

How long do you get out of one battery ?

Well I took the little bird out for a flight today and I have to say......

Its Bloody brilliant :) Only had a couple of batteries with me. Wish I had taken more with me now.
Only issue was I had to give it full down elevator trim to stop it from constantly wanting to stall, but once this was done it flew brilliantly.
Found it looped and rolled with no problem at all.
Might go out for another little go later.
                      Very pleased with it :sifone::D

Names are a bit confusing. I have a HobbyZone 48" Piper Super Cub.

Checkout elevator and rudder links. I found they were very sloppy which I had to re-enforce. The model since became completely different - very sharp responses and flies virtually hands free!

                        A great fun models.

                        :cheers2:
