Before you buy anything for the business speak to your local Business Link & councils.

In the NE we have funds for up to £5k towards assets so a he man conversion would be eligible, plus livery, signage, business cards website you name it if you tap into regional funding before you start trading thier is money to be had that could reduce your own capital cost to start up.

I've got a local driving school a new laptop, website being designed and a blackberry for diary. I'm sure you know most of it but I've attached a piece of info on the sector.

I treat people the way I wanna be treated and it seems to have worked for this long .... I would like to buy a 700 but the wifes on one at the minute ... i did a deal with her tho .. as long as i good she will let me have a 600nsp for chrissy .. something i can look forward to .. . then i can sneak a 700 in the house eventually lol ...

How many of us apart from myself are qualified ADI's then?

Oh and if any of you that are training to be an ADI or thinking about it then feel free to give me a shout and I can see if I can help with your qualifiying. I also hold a Fleet badge, Driver improvement training and ADI training instructor.......

Its seriously worth a chat before you start trining, its not all nice girls driving youa round and paying you money unfortunatly and while some think the jobs easy its far from it! Also its not always the nice little earner the adverts would have you beleive :(

On second thoughts I've started a new thread about the above so please reply to my question there.

                        That's harsh mate.

I've got a tuned up and NOS'd Golf 4 turbo, no way I'd part with it. Its way more fun than heli's and probably cheaper to run and maintain too. Must break your heart to that weapon go.

If I were you, I'd sell the heli's long before I sold the car. :)

hell Ant couldnt you get any bigger NOS tanks?? how many seconds do you get out of them??

you must be younger than adrian and myself cos when you get older speed just doesn't cut it! i had a busa and tried for the 200mph club at bruntingthorpe i went through the gate at 198mph. but didnt have the balls to go again:ack2: self presavation cut in. but now heli's give me the same rush without it trying to kill me!!:) :)

but having said that nice car dude! i would like to be sat in there just to feel that acceleration.(better than top speed anyday)

About 30 minutes of boost on the conservative +50bhp which is what I use mostly. But there's a little box of tricks in the glovebox that lets you up that to 110bhp safely and that will last around 15 minutes, it really does kick you back in the seat when its set to this. The injectors are rated for more than that but set the boost any higher and I'd have to look at further uprating the engine otherwise you risk excessive wear or outright failure with the extra heat and stress generated.

The car is around 200bhp(unconfirmed but want to get it rolling roaded after a few more engine mods) without NOS so your looking at 300bhp with. Its a light ride and decked so it really handles the corners too.

Not the quickest car I've owned but the overall blend of acceleration and handling makes it one of my favourites. Before the VW I had a rare as rocking horse shit(in this country) heavily breathed on limited edition Tommy Kaira scooby that I'd imported from Japan. Rolling road tested at 374bhp, was like a rocket. Sadly I only had it two months before it was stolen from outside my workplace. Never did see it again but cars like that are nicked to sell on.

PS I don't think I'm that much younger than Adrian, 29 here. Too old for subwoofers but too young for a Ford Focus :D

Another one of my pleasures is motox, arguably more fun than the cars. I love em all though.

Nice car Ant .... I would love a scooby .. but i got a family so had to make do with a friggin 4X4 lol... plus it gets my fleet of models in it and I am 36 so speed has sorta gone past me ... I used to drive all sorts when I was younger ... used to have a escort mk2 with a 3L V6 in it .. went like the clappers lol ...nothing in it apart from 2 bucket seats ... and I went through the whole caboodle of uprated and sports cars over the years ... Now I drive a bit more sedately and in comfort hehe ...

I'm getting on a bit (My 45th birthday is this month) but, must admit, I do have a bit of a heavy right foot.
Here are some pics of the last few cars I have owned.

                                First up a 347BHP 5.5L V8 CLK55 AMG.

                                Then a Lotus Elise 111R 190BHP

                                Finally the C32 AMG 354BHP

To be honest if it was a toss up between the helis and the car I would definately keep the car.
There are other reasons why it has to go.

                                Adrian.
