Just heard the sad news that Randalsh has passed away.
He was on the heliguy forum which was the first one I joined when I got a pc.
He helped me and many others solve heli problems and had time for people.
He will be sadly missed by many.



I tried to post on HG but couldn't get on so thought I would post here as many here will remember him.

No sorry to hear that, He really helped me on my first steps into this hobby. haven't been on the heliguy forum in a long time. He was a really nice fella

Sad news.

I recognised the name but wasn't sure where from until I clicked. I used to love the Heliguy forum.

That is very sad news to wake up to today :( Randall was a top bloke and pretty much the glue that held heliguy together. I spoke to him a few months back and absolutely no idea he was even ill apart from a bad back he had since I've known him.
He was a well travelled chap and had a story for everything :) he even wrote a couple of books that were published

I met him in Leicester for breakfast and a smoke three years ago,,top bloke,plenty of time for others.After breakfast we spent an hour having a smoke in his car as he drove me to the train station.
He was a really nice guy and will be missed.

Sad news indeed, I too remember him as the kingpin of HG forum when I first started in 2010/11.

All the above and more as Randall was true ambassador for our hobby. Great guy and a privilege to have been associated with him.
