Blade Cancelled

Sooo,

I posted a couple weeks ago that I was waiting for a Blade 120sr I had won on eBay, but I was going to be away at work so wouldn't see it at all till the end of month.

Well am not getting it at all now, I won the auction on 26th Feb and yesterday cancelled payment. The reason was that although I paid via Paypal as soon as I won the auction, I noticed that 4 days later, it had a little egg timer symbol for payment on the listing in my eBay. I went straight to Paypal site and seen that the transaction was showing as "unclaimed" by the seller. So I contacted the seller politely, I noticed in meantime he had 4 positive feedback, and checked if he'd received the funds and he replied no not yet. Anyway long story short, I cancelled the payment completely then told him to send me an invoice through eBay and I'd pay, so he did, then I did and then same again, "unclaimed". SO I got angry yesterday and informed him I was cancelling the payment as I was buying someone else, but told him to check his Paypal settings as there's summat not right as I did purchase other things in the meantime and payment went fine.

Now back on the look for a Blade 120Sr or 200srx or something else similar for progression after the quad. eBay seems a bit quiet just now.

If i was you i would check your paypal and make sure all is ok.
It sounds like you sent an echeque which happens automatically if your funds are from a different source than normal

Payplal account is fine, nothings changed I been using it for 10 years and know how to. I don't normally buy off anyone under 10 positive feedback and don't really know why I did this time. HOWEVER the plot thickens!

Something going on there I think. Used the address from Paypal invoice and street view shows it as a very nice LARGE house not far from Colchester. However, I have suspicions it's someone trying to set up some sort of business from home.

Anyway the money is still in my Paypal and I seen somehting else I'm watching. I will however be watching the user now and suspect the name will be gone in a while or so.

looks like a lucky escape.
first thing i do is check into their ebay feedback and profile every time. My wife is into handbags and she recently got a cracking private deal on a Chanel Classic Coco Black Quilted Lamb 2.55 Double Flap Bag Purse through ebay. She met up in london and had it authenticated instore at new bond st. For every authentic one their must be a few hundred fakes.
Yes i am quite knowledgable on handbags lol. We are constantly getting invited to preview the coming seasons bags etc. My last visit was to delvaux who for the 1st time have opened a store in london. I digress :highly_amused:
It really is buyer beware these days on any purchases but certainly helps to do your homework. I wonder is anyone selling a 120 on here?
