I'm having to use the above because I had to cut the CA hinge after I've installed my rudder.
Anyway, I have drilled holes in my rudder (3mmm drill) for the robart pin hinge to go in
First problem:
Robart pin hinge is 1/8th... the barbed ends go in the hole ok but the pin hinge gets fatter nearer the pin hinge... How do I make sure it goes in the hole? Do I need to drill bigger?
2nd problem:
My tail fin, I have drilled holes but the tail fin's structure is not solid. My drill goes through the wood. The robart pin hinge goes through. Is this ok?
Will I need to cut the pin hinge short or can I leave it hanging on the other end of the wood?
I do not have a photo but I did a quick sketch
