My mojo has gone

Following my logo crash and waiting six weeks for a replacement then crashin it on its maiden I just can't fly now. My arse and my hands just tense up and I'm making excuses not to fly

its horrible when that happens best thing to do do is relax ( easy to say I know) but just go at it like hammer and tongs. I find it best on ya own and just keep going flight after flight and it will come back.

I was in s Hampton yesterday delivered to revolution I would of swapped ya my mojo for some enthusiasm :P

all the best don't make excuses not to go out as u end up not being arsed (like me and its a bad habit ) :P

Partly why I gave up, along with the financial side. I was just to conscious of crash costs and lost the enjoyment. Was fine when I was well off but that didn't last :(

I think that's a big part Phil, I've gone from a fleet to 2 in less than 18 months, and each crash has become more difficult to fund. I've gone from having what I want when I want to feeling guilty when I do spend now.
I still think Helis most of the time but actually flying has taken a back seat recently and I have to push myself to go.
Nice to know it isn't just me but I'm hoping its just a 'wall' like I get when I'm learning new stuff and not the beginning of the end lol

Never mind bloody mojo, thats all a load of old hooha, well apart from when it comes to my bad juju with the E5 :sour:. Who needs mojo when you've got the silky skills I've been reading all about!! I don't have the mo, the jo, or anything close, but I've recently had both helis fall out of the sky 6 times in as many flights and I'm looking forward to flying at 5 today. The E5 is unfortunately going to stay lying in a heap, until I can afford the bits for it, but having sorted the Logo and knowing it wasn't pilot error that threw it on the ground twice, I'm good to go again. I don't even have your huuuuuge field I've seen pictures of,
I'm going flying in a BT phone booth by comparison.
Phew, please tell me you're nearly convinced, I'm running out of BS :beatdeadhorse5:.

I've been on the sim almost everyday in fact I've got piro circuits and piroflips nailed but my logo yesterday just felt totally different, sluggish even and way different collective behaviour too

Im the same mate, got the 550 finally sorted put 4 packs through it today, don't get me wrong it was "nice". Flying just isn't exciting me as much as it used too, the cost of crashing the 550 previously has put me of too as said.

Im sure the mojo will return though ;)

I'm in a similar boat Don. Had 2 heli malfunctions with a popped link on the 600n and a sheared tail grip bolt on the 700 and I too feel guilty about spending money on the helis. I'm pretty much down to my 700 and Logo for the near future. I wanted to get a TSA but i've held off as it's not a necessity right now. The urge to fly is few and far between as the social side of the hobby has declined and the weather hasn't been kind this year.

I'm sure it will be a passing phase and when you get out to the field you'll have that one flight that gets you back in the game. Many (myself included) have pretty much got to the stage of quitting at one time or another but next thing you know you're out flying again all the time and the fleet starts filling up again. Don't let it get you down as it happens to the best of us.

You need to do what feels right mate, and you gotta have your head in the right place, but for sure we do miss you at the SHH field.

I reckon you need to get the old 450 basher fixed up. You'll be back to your usual inch off the deck mental self soon bud. 😃

Hi Don
I worry about crashing every time I fly at the moment, as I haven't got as much 'crash cash' as I normally have, due to other financial commitments.
Also got a bit if stress on at work which doesn't help, as I sometimes find it hard to switch off which doesn't help the mojo!
Your mojo WILL return soon I'm sure and when it does you will come back better than ever!
