well, it would appear my passion for R/C's have been rekindled. I am currently in the process of building or will be building a t-rex 450 clone. I want to take my time with the heli as well as build on the parts over time. Initial it will be based off some budget parts, but that also because I want my other half who has taken a liking to my helicopters to be part of the fun as well. I'll post what my build list is once I figure out the best place on these forums to do so. cheers, Mo

Welcome. You have found a good forum. We are a bit competitive on helping people. There are many threads on clones. The quality of clones has improved and some are quite good. It is useful if we know what sort of experience you have in RC and in heli flying and building. Are you going for flybarless or flybarred?

I am going to go flybarred and my experience in Heli's is honestly novice, building other R/C's is well rounded. The goal is to have a HK450GT with electronics for under 250 CND or about 156 GBP
