Hi all,
Started this hobby just over a year ago with a honey bee, took ages to get a 10 second hover loads of crashes and repairs but after that first hover I was hooked.
Went on and brought a blade 400 plus dx6i which was so much better but when I got a trex 450 sport I was amazed how stable it was now got a 550e and a 600n and love it not flown a lot of helis through the winter (hands get too cold old boy at 55) so been flying planes easy on the fingers.
I would like to say a big thanks to all the guys at TTI for the help and support and a big thanks to Tony S (aka Sesame)for the help setting up my helis and doing my A cert.
Last thing every club should have a Norm his parts department and workshop are second to none cheers Norman.

Well done have fun I bin flyin helis for 2 years now but just can't find the time to fly so sadly thinking of selling up but I have enjoyed it and will nodout come back to heli flying later . Enjoy

Put it on hold

Don't give it up just put it on hold,I've been it the hobby for about 35 years cars boats and planes gave it up about 25 years ago due to family commitments and not a lot of money rc stuff was a lot more expensive back then.
The kids grew up and left so we moved house it took about three years to do it up, then got bored so got into helis best thing I've ever done, gets me out of the house.

You'll be very welcome to visit us at Brentwood model flying club anytime. We have fields at the rear of the Brentwood Centre and also at Stock (Ingatestone) and have a healthy heli member section.

We'll have to organise a proper one for next week for you John. we do them every week, theres probably going to be one tomorrow but, ill only be there a coupla hours and as their all lazy and dont get there till late, it probably won't be sparked up till im on the way home pmsl.

This is comming from a man that gets over the field at the crack of dawn and watches a film in his car waiting for everyone to turn up just so he can sneak out the house before she gets up and locks his toys up LOL.

I wait because I dont really like flying when on my own, if you get hit its nice to know theres someone there phoning an ambulance while their laughing. lol

I keep thinking someones actually going to get there early and they never do pmsl.
