Was invited to the field with my 450 dfc i bought second hand. i had replaced the main shaft and tail servo and despite two days trying to set up the ar7200bx i was stuck in a loop from point g to L

we discovered a couple of links that were stripped so i was lucky to have some experienced guys their so off i went home to get the spares and within 20 mins of returning the guys got me in the air.
Infact it was so well set up that it was hovering hands off in the hands of tony.

A special mention to tony and also the chap who set up the dx8 ( the funny one that had a very nice gaui.)
Tim also offered to do some buddy work with me so i have decided to join. he just needs to catch me then feel how deep a scotsmans pockets are to get the fee lol

Anyway i had a great day and their was some spectacular flying from 130x to the big machines and a cracking spitfire on serious steroids.
Thanks lads and i look forward to being part of the fold.


+ = until this independence bill then i will have to get a dual passport lol

Sounds like you had a fantastic day at the field - from what i've heard its a great club with some really good people flying there.. I am yet to meet them in person as i've only been going for a few weeks, usually on weekdays in mixed weather lol - this week is looking good all week so I'm hopeful!

as a side note I like the field too, and to finally have a field thats for private use is amazing =P
