  • cutting down leads

    Hi All.

After a billion changes to the copter x 250 / now almost align / with awesome servos.
I haven't worried too much about being tidy as every flight so far has resulted in a rethink / rebuild.
So now have it 95% flyable and actually getting close to a good thing. Actually surprised how well it flys.

So now have a heli that looks like a absolute dogs breakfast in the wiring department.
Only way I see to get rig of all the excess cable is to cut it down.
Seems a shame to have to cut off the original plugs that came with my nice servos and things but guess its the only way?

    Any comments welcome.

Why not relocate the 'bundle' of wires so that they are in the void below the battery pack?

Would keep them inside the canopy then and no need to cut any leads down - out of sight, out of mind.

Actually didn't think of that. Guess I can pull the leads for the front 2 servos the throttle lead from the ESC and might look at squishing the BEC in there are well.
These little guys are a tight squeeze.
