help needed to figure out what way round this link goes??

looking at all the pics on google it shows the link screwed in flush to the control arm however align have it loose with a unthreaded part and i am not sure if you tighten it this way round making the shoulder dissapear into the arm or if it is meant to go in the other way round?
also how do you thread into this hard hard plastic.
Any tips appreciated

Ive found it doesnt really matter - if you put the collar side into the metal Ive found it snaps off inside the dfc link a bit easier in crashes so probably best the other way round.

The plastic links are a pain to get on i put the small metal links in a dremell, put on some green locktight and 'drill' it into the plastic link lol. Probably not the best way to go about it but works for me
