Align starter. Battery options

The battery in my Align starter has seen better days and I'm looking to change it. Looking for "cost effective" option, cos I like a bargain!

Most 3 cell LiPos will work fine as far as just powering it but only a few will fit in the compartment. I had an 1800mah pack that fit very easily and I have a Turnigy Nanotech 2200 that will fit but all my other 3 cell 2200mah packs will not fit and they have to just hang over the side, which isn't a big deal really, but it would have been nice if they had made the battery compartment just 2 or 3 mm wider and taller.

I have a turnigy 2200 I think, and it fits and works well.

Overlander 2200 3S in mine - fits OK in compartment.
Also comes with a deans fitted.

I've tried a Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 40C pack and it's just a millimetre or so to deep to get in, which is a pain.

just swapped mine out for a turnigy after 3 yrs

You'll find that the Turnigy Nanotechs are physically smaller and may be a better bet.

I have an Overlander 3s 2200 45c fitted. It is a tight fit.

Align 2200 or smaller, overlander 25c 2200 will fit and not expensive .

A little snug but it does fit.

Price was right as well considering they come with Deans already fitted.
