throttle hold/bind

when rebinding a 450 trex should the throttle hold switch be flicked to hold or put in the off position

Throttle hold shouldn't affect the binding process... all binding does it match the RX to the TX.. nothing do with the channels.

On spektrum it stops you binding as the TX warns about TH being on.

In a way thats annoying if you have a Rx with failsafe as you want TH on, otherwise you have to set your throttle pitch curves as you want them for failsafe then reset for normal after...

ive got to the bottom of the issue, basically the DX6i needs to be set at -7% on the throttle hold setting to actualy cut the power to the motor.

You can also take off the alarm on throttle hold in the system menu which would get round it.

That sounds like your ESC isnt calibrated. You may need to set the min/max throttle points but this shouldnt stop you binding.....

i might have confused you guys. im not actualy going to rebind the trex, what i had was, throttle hold flicked on plug in battery, flick throttle to off and the heli would spool up and thought by doing a rebind would sort things out. but i know now what the issue was every thing is all good now.
